That 57% is only of the 44-55% of children who are attending an ECD. The remaining 45% are not even attending school.
They are also more likely to do better in school, to finish high school, and to progress to tertiary education.
When children lack a quality education before the age of 5, they enter the school system without the tools required to learn. This disadvantage carries enormous consequences for their – and South Africa’s – future.

We facilitate the training of teachers to practice positive affirmation and appropriate discipline.
